ACN’S SCANDALOUS PRIMARIES: Is ACN a better alternative to the PDP?

There were some protests, but the un-happy PDP members put it in writing and did not take to the streets. The party ordered fresh primaries in a few states in an effort to be fair to all candidates. THE Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) is a new party and may not have properly learnt the language of democracy. Members of the party disputed some of the primary election results with vehemence that sometimes ended in violence.

The primaries held by the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) greatly startled Nigerians. The primaries showed that the ACN had all along been dressed in finery of falsehood, that its democratic credentials are as fake as a forged certificate.
